“The Birthers” on Obama’s citizenship! Give me a break and get a life!
This is the first time RPO has chosen to re-run an article that is just one year old! It was regarding an idiotic notion that then Presidential Candidate Barack Obama was not a U.S. citizen. There are now enough of these idiots to actually give them a name….The Birthers! They have their own website and you can go back and click on the last highlighted link to see it. It’s loaded with selected bullshit that will not stand up, unless you buy into it. Every generation has its share of morons, and these are some of ours! To make it worse, the Media is to blame as they have gone into a feeding frenzy, making this non-issue a leading story, which just adds more fuel to the fire! Lou Dobbs of CNN continue to make a complete fool of himself by his tacit support of the matter while the major networks keep this story alive by continuing to report on it. RPO has changed nothing form the original article below, except by adding this introductory paragraph. Who ever thought that this matter would make the headlines again? Barack Obama’s citizenship: There’s no doubt about it in spite of all the disinformation!
There is no doubt about two things in this world. One is that there is more disinformation on the Internet than you can deal with! The other is that Barack Obama is a citizen of the United States and is therefore qualified to be President! Recently, I was sent an email, supposedly written by a Senior Fellow from the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. I decided to try to track down some information in the email, and try to educate myself on what the United States Constitution’s requirements. What resulted was the information in that email was incorrect, but more importantly, the disinformation on the Internet is so prolific that it takes a detective to wade through all of the crap out there! However, let’s get back to the line of inquiry regarding Obama’s citizenship.
What was particularly interesting was that I found the exact report from this Senior Fellow from the Hoover Institute out on “breakingthechain.org. That seems to be a strange place for such a prestigious report. Furthermore, I found another website, which basically claimed that this exact report was bullshit! This was “truthorfiction.com” and I really have no clue as to the validity of either websites, but it was interesting that they both addressed this article sent to me. Although I’m not from Missouri, I decided to try to get some “real” information regarding the subject to see if it might hold some water. It sank! The article in question refers to The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, AKA The McCarren-Walter Act and the an Amendment to the Immigration and Nationally Act of 1986, which is the basis of this erroneous claim. It is based on the fact that Barack Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Durham gave birth to Obama when she was 18 years old and that she must have resided in the U.S. for 10 years, and at least five years after the age of 16 to qualify her son as a citizen. As Obama was born when she was 18, he is disqualified as a natural born citizen. It continues but we will not, as the 1952 Act they are using for this argument refers to those people born “outside the geographical limits of the United States of parents one of whom is an alien.” Click on the last line and you can read it for yourself. Both the 1952 and the 1986 Immigration and nationality Acts address those children born overseas, when one parent is an alien. The 1986 law reduces the time to five years, two of which after the age of fourteen. This, however, is totally irrelevant to Barack Obama, his mother, who was born in Kansas and his grandparents, both of whom were born in Kansas. The fact that his mother divorced is father, remarried and moved to Indonesia has no bearing in this case. What we’re dealing with, however, is bullshit and it should be delegated as such. It's so interesting that
It's so interesting that this issue keeps crawling up his back. Personally, I think it is a red-herring that he himself indulges in manipulating. Such is the pettiness of both sides.
I take some enjoyment in watching some aimers miss the mark, so that those who indulged in being his advocates indulge further in flaunting their contempt of those who did not. I find it draws out the players, and the jock-sniffers - those who hang at the field house, but who never donned the pads, for whom they are. They provide a skin for a man whose own is thin.
The commonality of the dribble never affects, or effects, much. But, into a third generation of a dumbed down population, maybe it's only fitting that we be run by gauleiters, civil servants and propagandists.
His birth certificate is about as important as whether his prototypes were vegetarians or theology students. But it must be encouraging to be able to say: "I said so before!" ("I" of so many netters). So there!

It is definitely a “red-herring” but I disagree that President Obama indulges in its manipulation. The only position to take is to remain silent on it, as if it didn’t exist. If he responds, then that’s just adding more fuel to the fire. This is a “non-issue” that appeared nearly two years ago and should be laid to rest. I don’t give a damn what “The Birthers” say or believe as they belong to one of the many nut fringe groups that exist both on the Left, as well as the Right. What matters is that the Media chooses to concentrate on this issue and continue to report on it. If they stopped headlining it, it would quietly go back into the hole from which it came!

Loud Dobbs should have stuck with Space.com. CNN is slipping into irrelevance and they know it, which is why they're happy to have Dobbs traipse along this bogus byway-at least it's being noticed.

Dobbs has completely lost it
Dobbs has completely lost it and has become totally irrelevant! CNN in particular has also become irrelevant as well, and their coverage of the news is now a joke. It is unfortunate that the U.S. cannot receive CNN International, as their coverage is much better than anything we can get here in the States. When I was in China last Fall, I knew more about what was happening in the World than most Americans. The other major networks fare no better. There exists a considerable effort to keep us dumb, and it’s working very well!
